As a secondary responsibility, the Treatment Plan Coordinator will support a function of the Patient Experience Team. The Treatment Plan Coordinator is a liaison between the doctor and the patient and assists in the gathering of information in the new patient experience, as well as coordinating a treatment plan with the doctor and presenting it to the patient. They are knowledgeable about the treatment and timelines, and they are prepared to negotiate financial arrangements with the clients. The Treatment Coordinator provides a calm and warm environment for patients who are otherwise anxious and concerned about how to afford dentistry. They also coordinate, as needed, with other offices who share in the care of patients, making sure referrals and correspondence are received and followed up on.   The Treatment Plan Coordinator may also be responsible for some internal accounting duties that support the practice’s goals for profitability. They must be able to communicate well. The number one responsibility of all employees is patient care and meeting patient needs. Supporting the Patient Experience Team, the ideal candidate is someone who understands and can deliver excellent customer service over the phone and operate efficiently while maintaining excellent communication and accuracy. Main tasks will be performed with use of dental software, online websites, and communication with patients and other team members. Additional responsibilities may be required, as needed.

At My Community Dental Centers, we want people to feel welcomed and proud to become patients. We are committed to the growth of our employees in coaching and developing them to succeed and provide the best care possible.   Someone in this role must be able to operate efficiently while maintaining excellent communication and accuracy. Main tasks will be performed with use of dental software, online websites, and communication with patients and other team members. Additionally, the PER will provide timely support to all MCDC dental clinics, working to meet the needs of MCDC and patients. An individual in this role must exercise independent judgement and discretion in completing new patient registrations and assignments. The PER will work closely with all Front Desk and Office Manager team members for all MCDC dental offices.
